Story is my lad was on the laptop the other morning, when he shouts me to say its not turning off.
So he just pushed the power button and dident think nothing off it.
Went to boot the laptop up again, it will go threw the windows loading screen (where it says Windows XP and the progress bar at bottom) after that it gos black and then freezes. it should go to the selete User screen but will not 
I can get into Windows threw Safe Mode no problems.
I have tried restoring setting for a month ago and still nothing
HELP........

boot off windows xp disk and run a repair installation

FIXED 
just put the XP Disk in and it just booted right up
