I've just rang O2 to upgrade my phone, cos my current one is knackard !! I was tempted by the K810i, but they want £40 for it. The K800 was free and according to the bloke, there exactly the same, just a slight image change. Is he correct or talking crap ??
I'm not too fussed how a phone looks, cos it spends most of its time in my pocket, but I'd like some decent features etc.
I've got 14 days anyway, so might upgrade to the K810, but is it worth the hassle ??

Go through to retentions and try and get it for free.
K810i is slighty thinner, differnet buttons, choice of phone colour and the slide cover for the camera is better (k800i pisses me off, opening in pocket).

but apart from it being a little thinner an the camera cover, there isn't much between them ??

Nope - notmuch of an upgrade from one to the other but if your K800i is knackered then I'd get it. I wouldn't pay the £40 though, see if you can get retentions to reduce it or for free.

It comes with a measly 128mb mem card and when you operate the camera they keypad iluminates with camera specific controls (flast, redeye etc)
Its fucking pointless, alltho its "slimmer" its also wider than a k800.
Most pointles phone sony bought out, get a k800 and if your on o2 get the silver one (like me!) its sexy as fuck.

Silver K800 looks ace
K810 looks wierd but also nice. £40 is nothing, if its really the one you want then pay for it. But you are buying a K800 revamp

You can compair the 2 phones side-by-side on the SE website. Apparently you loose music tones and gain tack ID's. The only other differences seem to be cosmetic.

You can have Mp3 and Mp4 for ringtones. The SE site is incorrect
