Already started mine although nothing too heavy yet just walking a lot and riding the bike. What are you doing for your training, i.e how many times a week, how long you running for etc?

Only 12 weeks till season starts again!

Think I'm going to start properly next week, go for a decent run every other day 3 miles or so, and a bike ride/walk the day in between. Bought myself a skipping rope too

Have training with the football team twice a week. Thursday night for about 2 hours and then Sunday mornings for about 3.

Will also be getting to the gym more and just carry on with the cardio.

I hardly drink now and rarely eat crap nowadays. My Dad keeps pestering me to go running with him, he runs silly distances though!

Going to start having a kickabout at weekends too, mainly for fun though!

Marc what more incentive do you need mate! Get out there and start running with him. Even if you're knackered a third of the way through at least this will give you something to measure yourself against.

I need to cut out the shit food whilst at work I think.

he can't go mountain running every day surely??

Just get your arse out with him 2/3 times a week, that'll be enough

I currently run Monday-Friday in which I do 1 mile run flat out which is a lap of the area I live so it has two steep uphills and one downhill, etc so its perfect for me!! I then do sit-ups, press-ups, etc once a night to keep my upper body in shape, and go swimming once a week, and find that keeps me in decent enough shape!!

I really do need to cut down on the shit food I eat tho
