How much did it cost for the powder coating and how did you strip it down ready for coating? Fancy rebuilding mine after the summer and wouldn't mind a colour change. Ta

Stripped it down in two ways

Sandblasting firstly but the scrappy where I had it done or did it myself even, shut at 13:30 so I was like feck this I can't leave it half done for Monday when it was due powder coating I'll buy some nitromors and sort it.

Went to B&Q got some nitromors and wire wool, stripped the rest down using that.... took it in the shower with me, dried it off, white spirit and wire wool, white spirit and cloth.... job done it did have some ratty little bits left but the powdercoater managed to sort it so get in

£25 notes for a powdercoat near me, any colour most places I contacted (found via yell.com) where £25-50...

Hope that helps Matt

It's a Kona Stinky Dee-Lux, I got it powder coated a few years back because the green and yellow paint scheme wasn't really turning me on The Ed was from me fucking around at school one day making decals on the film cutter

Would have prefered the GSi 2000 badge, but it said Cavalier GSi 2000 so I couldn't really use it so used the badge off the Cav's door insted.
