Am i doing something wrong or what ???

I am doing the following.

Hitting del at start up changing settings to boot from cd - save changes Y

pc boots up, win xp installation comes up

formats partition and copies xp files onto HD

then reboots - boots from cd and starts win xp setup again ???

Doesnt go to the xp installation it goes to the format partition sreen.



Any help will be very appreciated.

Why not try taking the disc out when it reboots?

After it restarts the 1st time change it back to boot from hdd.

FUCKIN ELL

i have just removed my cd rom and set my dvd rom as master then changed all setup to auto detect roms slave / master

reboot from 1de and now i have got to the main windows installation.

would all appear to be going smoothly now.

Probably set it to self destruct

noticed it now takes a little longer to start up when i first power up the bugger
