Ues as Xtremewheels said it's a 16v, they only used the 1.4 16v in the Sri for one year Hence why it's a little rare , the exact same Engine is used in the 1.4 Sport

Wire brushes to clean all the crap off it

can either paint it up with heat paint stuff...

wire brushes sand it all back down, removes the rust etc

Yes it's the 1.4 16v, same engine as the sport.

Easily modded for more power and cheap to do as well

Well, you can still do simple things like, cam/4-2-1 etc etc.

With my 1.4 8v its 100% pointless touching it, you can still get a 1.4 16v up and over 100bhp.

Which isn't bad.

I would recommend talking to Dave A from Vsport, he will give you some advice on what to do with a 1.4 16v and the power you'd be looking at after.

why is it pointless a cam and a vernier for an 8 valve is half the price of a 16v.exhausts are much cheaper and you can get just as much power and probably more torque.i personally have never had a small block 16v but i know the best mod for them is an inlet manifold.mantzel or similar go for around £200 second hand i think

Power gains, i could spend around £800 and gain 10-15bhp if that.
