My old flat screen was too big and bulky and was taking up way too much room, so when the buttons on the front started playing up i thought it was about time i went LCD.

these poxy new build flats are crap, they use aluminium studwork so to get a decent fixing is a nightmare, had to take down an area behind the tv to put some timber in the stud, then run all the wires, then repair the wall, then fit the "universal" brackets (which i had to drill new holes and put different bolts in because it covered where the wires went into the tv)

Yeah you'd need a pad fixed in place for something heavy like that in any new building.

Almost completed, had a sort out in my room and re arranged a few bits. only bit to do now is to fill and paint those few marks to the left of the screen where i was poking for the joist.
