Not all insurance companies "disclose" insurance details to the PNC.
I had stopped a vehicle belonging to a vicar that came back uninsured
Pretty sure he was insured though - all his other paperwork checked out so had to issue a HORT1...
Tbh I'd prefer all insurance companies to be under an obligation to update PNC - saves everyone time!

How do they update - do they just ring the chief of police and go 'hello this lad has just got insured'??????

Im going to write a letter to flux! Not on realy why the hell should i pay £700 a year for them not to bother to put me on the register??? Out of order IMO.
