United have accepted an offer from Boro of £6m for Smithy  But he'd rather play European football...
Rossi may be staying now Smithy has gone.
United to put offer in for Eidur Gudjohnsen 
Gerard Pique may stay at Zaragoza

I don't think Rossi will be playing in a red shirt next season.

poor lad deserves a chance, he is getting old enough now where if he is going to be the 'next big thing' then he should be playing regularly at the top level.

Hes pretty much the reason we won the Carling Cup in 2005/06. He didn't feature in the final few games but he got the team there. I think he'd be good for the team, they always field a weaken side for Cups and hes more than capable to step in. He'd probably do well in Europe too given a chance.
Be good to keep hold of Pique too but Zaragoza seem really keen.

Rossi?
They keep saying hes highly regarded, but you'd think he'd be playing by now. Look at Rooney and Ronanldo. Before long you won't be able to refer to him as a youngster!
