Dont forget anything!
And make sure your all packed up and ready to go ages before your meant to be, as otherwise you'll always end up rushing on the last day!

label all the boxes with a summary of whats in them and what room they are for
if you have anything that you dont want to get damaged then spend the time packaging them properly
get as many clothes as you can in a suitcase as they are easier to unpack
Dont get stressed if somthing goes wrong, enjoy moving into your new place! Somthing always goes wrong, thats just life

dont do what i did and just tip your desk drawes into a box 
unpack stuff ASAP otherwise it never gets done.
Leave the missus to do most of it.
label fragile boxes
