Just my opinion but this seems like a sideways step.

confirms torres is definately out of the door then

i would love him to come to united, i think he is a brilliant talent and will only improve

i do see why people are worried he may not be a success though, ie its a risk signing him, inconsistent etc, but that could be because he was with athletico

You can see the way fergie is structuring the team, and it's no different from years ago. Using experience to groom the youth, and it works. I love united for the way they play fluent football. On their day there is no team better to watch imo. Seeing the introduction of torres, to an ever improving young squad, with our new signings too, would make me sex wee tbh

Villareal have had there day...Riquelme who is there best player has left to go out on loan as he fell out with the manager...Senna is coming to the end of his career...and now Forlan has left...

Athletico will have money to spend and improve the team...they look like there already getting Garcia...now Forlan...

I reckon they will finish above Villareal next season...

Yep, to be fair we brushed Real and Juve out of CL with relative ease but struggled past Villareal!
