what temp does your gauge sit at when warmed up? on x14xe and x16xe?

Mine used to run that hot when I had an induction kit on the car with no cold air feed. Is it a standard engine?

it has induction kit with cold air feed manzel decat 421manifold. could this break anything? it isnt my car its my mates he doesnt no wats goin on.

Wouldn't know about the manifold, only thing it might be is the induction kit sucking in too much hot air

If its under 95 it should be fine and wouldnt cause any damage, cheeck coolant levels etc.

92 is were im sitting around about.
would the tempreature be reduced if i put a heat sheald on my manifold?

the temp on the clocks is the water temp a heatshield would not affect this.

My X14XE used to sit about 92/93 until I put a cool running thermostat in. Now sits just under 90.

Mine was anything between 95 at idle at redlining past 105 when it was running for an hour so changed the thermostat and runs at 91ish now and doesnt move tbh

anything between 88 and 97 in classed as 'normal operating temperature'

Mine stays on about 90 until I get stuck in a traffic jam then it rises to 95-98
