Another choice i have is a 306 1.9 turbo diesel for £150 a month, bearing in mind i already pay £120 for a 1.2 8v corsa so not expecting to insure any car for much cheaper than that. Are the 306s much good?

Theyre pretty good engines iv heard, go on for a while what sort of age/mileage should i be looking at without expecting too much trouble, obviously i dont expect it to never go wrong, but any suggestions on what to look out for when buying one of these?
