Has been going thro for a while but finally got the keys last wednesday. Plenty to be gettin on with and have a few plans for it. Here are some pics as it was when i got the keys.

Have been busy this week starting on the main bedroom. Cant really get stuck in as ive been on afters but is nearly ready for over boardng the ceiling and new plaster.

Living room is nice, are you gunna change it? I would prolly remove dado rail, or paint the bottom half a biscuity colour and rip that fookin brick work out!

Cheers...yeah have been up there allday 2day. Bedroom 1 is nearly ready for plaster...just gotta chase 2 new back boxes in then its ready. Stud work is up to extend chimney breast. Have started on the landing aswell and also mum has been up and tidyied the front garden...aint mum's brilliant!

Just workin top to bottom at the mo. The brick work and fire place is being ripped out and summat nicer will be put there. tv will be on the wall...eventually. Also kitchen is half ripped out, new one going in its place.

I would just get rid of the fireplace altogether, you'll probably find the radiators provide enough heat & its never on - id brick the bastard up

Small Update

Heres a couple of pics of bedroom 1 which is now ready for plaster. Double socket chased in and stud work up for extending the chimney breast. End of which is being left open to make storage space.

Im extending it cos downstairs its a full size one and looks allrite...upstairs its just the flue thats blocked in and is off centre on the wall. Just extending it the same as downstairs really...plus leaving one end open which will be made as storage.

Heres a few pics of the latest progress with the house.

Bedroom 1 plastered.

Kitchen Stripped.

Landing boarded and ready for plaster.

Yeah im thinkin about it whilst the kitchen is in the state it is. Thinking of puttin a combi in but need to look into it as i dont know much about them.

Yeah have done most of it yeah. Mate is a joiner so helped me with the stud work n my bro is a plasterer...which is handy.
