they all seem to do kits for the gsi and the 1.2 and 1.4 8v but none for the x14xe??

SFS Performance in Luton do a hose kit for an X14 and X16 engines.
C16XE kit is practically the same as the X16/X14 kit.

Reduce ambient temperature in the engine bay. Less heat = cooler air = more power.
More noticable on an upgraded engine. My water temps dropped by 10 degrees when i fitted hoses to mine.
