im getn a 1.6 16v corsa gsi engine im wondering if i need 2 chage anythng 2 fit it into my corsa b 1.6 16v corsa sport

if they are both an X16XE engine, then no. They are the same. If its an early GSI it will be a C16XE and you will need a different loom and ECU.

im changing it cause my sport engine is burning shed loads of oil and had it in t garage t day n its needn valve stem oil seals and t head prob done at same time so talkn abt 400ish for it all done so am cheaper dng this

Probably going to cost the same imho. May be the conversion more, plus the C16XE engine from the GSi is going to be older, so may have these problems also.

na ma pals fitting it for next 2 nothng for me plus av had a shot t gsi corsa and the engine n tht runs perfect and sounds awsome

valve stem seals is not that expensive

In doing mine for about £100

ay but the guy at t garage says he doesny wana take the head of without skiming it and replacing all again so gng for a shot in a gsi thew moro c how it runs n if am wantn it

I have recently bought head gasket, inlet gasket, exhaust gasket, valve stem oil seals and rocker gaskets for under £50

You can get a head skimmed for £40 odd
