Changing the fireplace in my house. Must be electric due to the tv also goin on the wall. Now just unsure which style to have.
Traditional but modern...(hearth and surround etc)
Or extra modern hang on the wall type?

TV going above the fire place?
Id say traditional because they just dont look right when youve got the fire and the TV 'floating' in mid-air on the same wall

Will look nice mate, some people dont like theire TV too high tho due to viewing angles etc..

Because ive read that gas fires give off too much heat and could damage the tv.

I think traditional if TV going above it...
I like TV to be at eye level and would hate having to look up to it on the wall

Right...ive had a good look round and narrowed it down to 2. Both have the same surround i think, just the fires are different. Which do you think.

Im not fussed about it bein that good regards heat output. house has central heating. I'm lookin for a nice focal point to the room. plus as ive said above...i cant have gas if im having th tv on the wall above it.

ahh rite , in that caser then Id have to have a propper hearth and mantel peice and all that, cant be doing with all this minimalist stuff IMO
