Is it possible?
You can get splitters for stalite signals for using multiple satalite recievers off of one socket, so in theory it could work, or is it more complicated than that?

The LNB is an active part of the tuning process, i'm not 100% sure how it works though so this post is of no use to you

Thats about all you need to know.
You just can't tune frequencies that use different polarities at the same time by the looks of it.

Oh, it says you can't physically do it either because you need two LNB's Booo, why didn't my new place come pre-wired for Sky plus I could go up onto the roof and run an extra cable down as my firends roof terrace has the dish sitting right above it

You can use it with 2 channels of the same polarity? Not ideal by any means but better than nothing I suppose.

It contradicts itself there I think. I might give it a try but:
Q) I have 1 LNB and 2 boxes. Can I use this thing to watch on 2 tv different channels at the same time?
A)Yes as long as the two channels are on the same polarity.
Q) I want to take the satellite signal from the wall and split it to feed the two inlets on a Sky+ DigiBox. Can I do this with this fitting ?
A)Yes you could however, this would not help as SKY+ boxes require multiple lnb's to allow time shift recording and pausing live tv etc.

Sky + works exactly the same as 2 seperate boxes would.
I'm sure there will be a conclusive answer somewhere but the theory behind the same polarisation seems ok.

I shall experiment as the splitter is fairly in-expensive. All I want to be able to do is just record stuff and recieive on demand services seeing as Sky+ is now free and I have an HD box
I shall report my findings

With that unit would I be able to earth it by running a wire from the body of the splitter to say a screw on a metal DVD player case?
