Well the cambelt rollers ideally need replacing too, as the plastic ones tend to fail at high rpm.

please 9000 rpm on a standard engine, I cant really see that lasting id at least want to be having it balanced and taking a look at valve springs.

9000 on a stock engine gets messy...... didnt have a problem with valve springs tho

plus young people are a lot richer nowadays so its probably his focus rs. any father with sense wouldnt let a youngun out in their rs

A standard 1.6 is slow as fook, so go with the 2.0, unless you tune the 1.6

1600 with an inlet allways kept me happy, corsa was allways on par with feista zetec s's savo vtr's but needed a bit more to keep with my mates 106, but saying that his did have poxy little wheels and some nice tunning goodies !

allways had fun in my 1600, cheap and trouble free

and wooly, don't be silly, wait until you have driving experience. no point fiddling around with conversions and the sort after 10 months driving experience.

get a year or 2 under your belt first.

yeah mate thats exactly what im doin gonna keep the 1.2 for another 14months and may get the conversion then

Yea mate I understand where your coming from, b4 my Sport I only had a 1.1 106 60bhp slow as fuck (there was no such thing as mid/top - range power!!! just wait like I did then buy a Sport or w/e
