I thought "they" knew once a car was not taxed anyway without checking for a displayed disc.

I thought once it expired, and was still declared on the road - an automatic fine was sent through the mail, or is that all bullshit?

yer they have all the details on a database, but if he went through a tax camera with no tax it would come up on the computer with no tax and heel get fooked

well its booked for an m.o.t for 2moz. thats why we need to get the car back to cambridge

Just tell him to make sure he phones the MOT test station before hand to book the MOT, or at least tell them he's coming. I had to do that with my Corsa as it had no tax or MOT and was SORN, but I couldn't tax it without an MOT
