Hi, I am currently looking into putting a C20LET engine out of a mates old car into my corsa 1.2 SXI. I am aware that i wil need to strengthen the chassis, but the things that im worried about are engine mounts, drive shafts and hubs. Im happy about fitting big brakes etc and the wiring should be fairly simple for me, as well as suspension. So basically, how hard is it? and any links to cars that have had this done or anything are much appreciated. Thanks. John

Like the comment about the wiring mate
Hope you have looked into it as its not as easy as you think as the Corsa C is a CAM-BUS system.
They are only a handful of Corsa C with engine conversion because of this fact. Now some people do know how to fit them an wire them (like myself) but they are not going to give that infomation away for free.
If you want somone to do the conversion for you and you supply all the parts then feel free to contact me.

Its not better by far as at the moment they are alot more high powered C20LET's than they are Z20LET.
It is easier i have to agree like said above both engine will be on the CAM-BUS system aswell as both on Drive-By-Wire.....

canbus wiring is a total pain sometimes. When I qualified as an auto electrician it wasnt ever used, its all new to me as well as most auto electricians. Its ok to deal with on some cars, others like vw's and audis are just stupidly complicated.

how hard will a 1800cc engine be to fit then? i take it with it being out of the same type of car it will just be a plug and play type thing. Wiring loom will just plug straight in etc. will i need a different radiator or driveshafts etc? not sure if the 1.8 are the same as 1.2. also, any other suggestions for what engine i could use? cheers.

ChazSXi on here did a 1.2 - 1.8 conversion in his.
He had to pay someone to do the wiring, and they couldn't do it, it wouldn't run right, so he sold it.
