1) Doesnt realli make the braking better, only does 10% of it anyway, the corsa is so light it doesnt need rear disks. Makes the backend twitchy (read dangerous) as fuck.
2) As i stated earlier in another thread...your buying brakes to look better whats wrong with you people. I want my brakes to stop me faster

when you fit rear disc's you usually have to use a bias valve, and set it up to put more pressure on the front, which defeats the object of having rear disc's....
if you dont do that, the rear will try and over take the front on hard braking

some insurance companies say rear discs only over 200 brake.
easy enough just grab some abs models out of astra gte etc. not sure weather the pick ups are the same though

More like uncontrollable braking and they don't exactly look all that good.

but then, its pointless having then, as you move near enough all the pressure to the front....

thats what bias valves are for
But then all you are doing is having the rear brakes provide the same ammount of braking power as they did when they were drum equipped.
I would say you're better off with a set of decent 2 or 4 pots up front

fuck me what a load of shit
mine was fine for ooh about 4 year and countless trackdays with rear discs, had them with both 2l brakes and the 4 pots up front.
I agree they are pointless if you want more braking power, look better? thats opinion. Make the rear end twitchy under heavy braking? load of cock.

I've been in a couple of rear disk converted Corsa's. It made them twitchy as fook. Was scary at some times.
