if its a 03 plate i agree with them as if im correct the early t reg etc astras were x16xe but the later ones are 16xel

They were all x16xel's in the mk4's as far as i remember

x16xel = x16xe with a different cylinder head as they have smaller ports etc i belive

different fuel emmision regs on the engine so different management, inlet a a couple of other bits

the xel will be a "low output" version of the xe

as said, usually to comply with emmisons

Will fit, you'd need to use the Z16XE inlet though, as it has FBW throttle, not cable, but it all fits...
