How do you get a debadged grille to fit into a gsi front? I know that the grille badge recess has to be smooth but then the grille stilll doesn't fit smooth does it?

mine
you have to cut all the little tabs off that hold it onto the bumper so the only thing that keeps it on is the 2 screws onto the slam panel.
but as you can see its not a close fit all the wat around but nothing u can do about that unless you extend the bumper into the grill

Cheers mark Seems like the top of the grille isn't showing aswell? But then I think the gsi grille is shallower than a debadged one is it not?

no problem. the top of the grill does show but only just, think its cause of the angle of the photo was taken. the debadged grill is deeper

Cheers Is the grille recessed just smoothed on yours or did you have to do any other modifications?
