I have a cobra system that was fitted by cobra.

Insurance say it makes no difference as its a corsa and not a high risk car

Clifford, Toad, Cobra

If you want blue LEDs and stuff go for clifford, if you just wan an alarm system go for the latter.

Someone else will have to explain this cat1 stuff. Could be something to do with amps and subs and stuff like that?

Insurance wont\shouldnt give discount for a CAT1 alarm unless you can provide a certificate to say it was installed propperly.

You can buy decent TOAD alarms from ebay cheap, take it to an car auto electricians for installation.
