Mine goes in the little square in front of the gear stick.
Since I have had the sport though, it didn't have that bit I then got used to putting it beside the handbrake or between my legs!

Used to have it on the dash (have one of those non slidy things), but when going around corners or anything, they slide anyway (as I found out!).
Now its usually just the door box, usually got a bit of crap in there so it doesn't bounce around!

Aye, they did fit really well.
Corsa vents are also shite for clipping on phone holders, they just drop to the bottom.
Just keep mine in my pocket and don't pick up.
