Its a Philips HTS3357

I bought it yesterday from Curry's was in there for 179 but i blagged the polish seller down to £150
Havent had chance to test it out properly, anyone know if its actually any good or not? The sub is 600w?
Apparently it upscales dvds if using hdmi?

i did it with a tv too, got it down from 799 to 700 with a free stand worth 100 quid thrown in im just cheeky i guess

yes it will... but tbh it doesnt make huge difference, its all marketing. i cant remember what mag it was but they had a big review about HDMI and referred to it as Highly Disapointing Multimedia Interface

yeah ive noticed this when i bought a hdmi dvd upscaller just a lot of media blag really, only difference is on brand new dvd releases they look a bit more polished and more vivid in color, old dvds have no change.

Upscaling is a bit like buying a pint of beer, drinking half of it and the topping it up with some water to get more beer.
