eBay - You want the original 1960/70s bricks Mav, much thicker and better quality. Usually job lots on eBay with large amounts should you require.

cheers folks will have a look on ebay and homebase etc...will have alook at that site too ally..
It's for under the stairs, going to block it off with glass bricks and lights behind them, but with an opening for storage etc...

Im liking the idea of having them as our shower screen as we currently have a pole and a curtain atm
they look cool but i do think that they could look dated v quickly!
If you're having lighting anyway couldnt you just build a stud wall/box it off etc?

was going to block under the stairs in with door and wall but fancy the glass brick idea now, not a huge space so should look  Glass bricks been in use for ages and don't really date as long as it's not a huge area..imo
for shower been told floor has to be reinforced etc due to the weight???

Nah you can use the blocks, ours would be 4 wide by floor to ceiling. It needs support yeah but not reinforcing - to my knowledge, but ours is a ground floor bathroom on a concrete base, and upstairs shower may be a different story....

Glass bricks will never be dated, they go back to Bauhaus and Modernism - always look fresh I'd like some but not really got anywhere to use them.
