im having problems with my amp.i wired it up properly etc, but it doesnt turn on or anything.at the moment im using an autoleads 30amp 360 watt wiring kit. the amp is a genesis dual mono extreme amp.so was just wondering if it would work if i had a better wiring kit,or does that not make a difference??

Should still power on with that wiring kit. Double check all the connections etc. You wired the remote wire to your headunit?

ye everythings fine with the connections as im using a different amp at the moment and that works fine.but the amp im using is a load of rubbish.not half near as powerful as the genesis one.maybe its a naff amp.my mate gave me it and it was working when he took it out.he got halfords to fit it,so just wondering if the used better cable etc.bare in mind the genesis amp has four 30amp fuses on the front.

get a multimeter on the power cable to check continuity but im gonna go with it being a dodgy remote lead.
