Do you need to replace the tank on a 1.2 8v Nova for a different one? If so, what model car does the tank have to be from?

If that isn't the case does the fuel pump have to be replaced?

I would imagine you need to change the fuel pump to an mpi one not sure about the tank i wouldnt think so though.

depend's if the 1.2 is injection or not...

if carb'd engine you can either fit a gte/gsi tank with external pump, or fit an spi tank with internal mpi..

if it's spi engine, just whip the pump out, and use an intank mpi pump

my old valver nova had an spi tank with intank mpi pump, from a corsa c iirc

On, we got an MPi pump off a 1.4 Corsa, bue it didn't fit in the hole. You think a Corsa C pump will fit a Nova Tank then Ste?

The car is a SPi 1.2 8v AFAIK.

To fit a corsa c pump you will have to de-solder the novas intake pump out the housing, and solder the new pump on.

A mk3 astra pump, just bolts right in and is the easiest thing to do.

And it will go in the hold on the top of the novas tank? Plug and play?

A mk3 astra mpi yeah, 1.4/1.6 8v/16v.

Yep, it bolts straight into the tank as its the same fitment.

Thats the setup i have on mine.
