i did own both at one point but wasnt overly impressed with the ps3 but now theres a few more games and some decent looking ones in the pipeline i may buy a ps3 again

well yes... XBOX 360 has better games and thats about it really in comparison to the PS3 oh and apart from the price... but you pay what you get for 
I am going to be having both Bioshock & Halo 3 waiting...

you dont get much more for the price of the ps3, blu ray is the main thing, oh and some may argue reliability

I have played on both and thought graphically unless you have a really big 42" HDTV there is barely any difference between the two....
The PS3 has less than a 2% fault rate in comparison to the 40% fault rate of the 360.... I should know just got mine back and guess what it's going off again soon!
& tbh Steve, in a few years time the amount of games won't be an issue... (well at least I should hope not!!!!  )

metal gear solid, and gran tourismo. in a few years that will be the ps3 line up worth getting not on pc or 360
