my 1st year insurance was through quinn-direct was £1000 tpft on my 1.2 8v and i was 20 years old.
just got my renewal quote throught today with 1 years ncb and im 21 now and is a nice £500 tpft
oh and all my mods are declared and didnt increase 1 penny

I was with quinn for a while quite cheap, that 500 tpft is still quite a lot for a 1.2 8v, I pay £350 tpft on my 206 GTi (group 14), Im also 21 with 4 years no claims
EDIT - just seen you got 1 years no claim, still think you could find it cheaper, Im almost certain you can

im planning to put my insurance back on come october, so just got some qoutes on gocompare.com.
Best i got was £868 with Quinn direct, thats on my own aswell.
Will proberly go for it
