my speedo has stopped working and some was saying to me that there are speed sensors in the abs sensors is this true because one of my abs sensors is broken , would this stop my speedo from working?

Depends if it's electric or cable clocks.

the speed sensor is in the gear box anyway not in the abs sensor

speedo is cable driven, thats what someone just said to me what else would cause the speedo to not work?

If its cable driven, the speedos died, the cable drive, or the cable itself has broke.
