Knock on you boss's door and say something along the lines of:

"Afternoon Sir, I know its company policy to filter the internet in order to maintain productivity. But I really want to access some porn sites to satisfy my sexual tension. Would it be possible for the filtering to be turned off on just my computer to allow me to view and store some nude photos in the wank bank for later?"

I'm sure they'll be no problem with that

Serious answer

Search from one of the 4,895,574 threads on here about proxy bypass url's

really depends how they have it set up, here at work even if you use one of the proxy websites, the filter will still block it on the basis of banned words - so i can view facebook using one of the proxy websites, but if a banned word is used it blocks it etc.

Eitherway, www.glideby.info and www.ievi.net - both work well, quckish, just remember that you won't be able to post things on facebook/myspace (and the likes) due to how FB/Myspace using client-side scripting for submiting data etc.

see, using a proxy i can see everything above this. But because allan was a penarse and spouted the queens english, allan's thread and below has been replaced with a big colourful logo telling me it has been banned

like i say, look at using something like httport, run the server and a proxy (ccproxy etc) at home and the client at work and map everything through on an open port - like SSL/HTTPS 443. Thats the theory i've yet to test it out, but will do sometime

If your work IT are doing their job, then remote access will be blocked too (as it is at my work). The way around this (as posted by another user the other day, to which has been successful for me ) is http://www.logmein.com

Install the software onto your home PC. Then just go to work, log onto logmein.com and then simply connect to your home PC through the web browser
