Yo ive just got a 1.2 Sxi 2003 corsa and its all standard at the moment. Its got a shitty vauxhall cd player that keeps doing strange things and want to change it but dnt kno wat to change it to. ive got about £250 to spend.

Anyone got any suggestions.

You basically need a fascia adapter plate to convert from the Vauxhall din to single din.

Being an SXi, you'll probably have audio controls on the steering wheel. To make this work with your new headunit, you'll probably need an extra wiring harness

get like a JVC with front faced usb port so you can plug USB sticks straight in.

Get a 2 gig one and your laughing

i loved mine and because its usb never skips, and because its not ipod no silly cables or battery running down

Battery isnt an issue if you get the proper ipod kits as they charge while they play

If you intend to use an ipod with it, id say go for alpine...but on the other hand i have a kenwood unit and it offers excellent quality and plenty of features

As deano said, you'll need adaptors if you want to keep the steering wheel controls. They can usually be bought for somewhere around the £20 mark, same for the fascia adaptor roughly
