surely a mobile phone cant pick up gps satellites. phones cant scan gps satellites unless you know of a model

lol dont know just put it in lol

i dont knwo about the satnav bit i bluetoothed my mobile to the pda and it scanned gps and found a signal so i assume just linking it to your mobile makes the satnav work and it dont cost as i had 0 pence call time whilst using it no problem

a phone doesnt have a gp reciever in are you sure it was working the only phone i know of with built in gps is the n95 and the new htc.

it says its waiting for a valid gps signal in the photo also.

you would need a bluetooth gps reciever i would presume which are about 20 quid off ebay.

yeah it may have connected to the bluetooth but that phone doesnt have a gps reciever so the gps software would not have been able to get a signal.

is that it connected in the photo?

no not in the pic im unsure all i can say is it works on my phone no doubt! is you say u have to get a luetooth gps thingy then probly have to.. other then that no other problems with its a nice bit of kit and for the asking price i cant really complain!

yeah i agree its a very nice system and price there great i used to have one that run tomtom on it.

was just trying to answer the other persons question, you deffo need a bluetooth gps reciever like i said there only £20 off ebay usualy cheaper.

even with that its still a very good price for a gps system.
