Upon inspecting my car today I am in desperate need of two new front tyres as they look very close to the 1.6mm mark

My wheels are 14" gsi ones.

Anyone got any recomendations? Its got Perilli P6000's at the mo which seem ok but I have never had anything else

Suggestions on a postcard please

Well they didnt have those in stock so I got some goodyear ones that look identical for the same price. I will see how they go

They couldnt do the tracking though as the guages didn't go under the car

Where do all you people with low cars go to get your tracking done???

I have to go to some japanese specialist place which charge about 55quid. think the machine is called 'ranger', costs about 30grand apparently.

as for the tyres - you saved yourself the hassle with not buying the pirellis, i always thought they were abit cack for the price

Tread pattern looks a bit nicer on them but you never look at them anyway long as they are grippy with winter coming up thats all that im bothered about

Yer there is a bigger new tyre place near me that i may enquire with as they have a brand new state of the art laser alingment thingy or something

Only thing is I think that these tyres must have a squarer profile as when im on full lock going left in reverse something rubs. Never does it going forwards or anything though.
Il investigate this when it stops raining
