Firstly, are you going to be designing the site, or are you just hoping to take a shot in the dark, and is it a new / small business, As I could get you a pretty sweet deal.
Cheapest ecommerce solution in the country, recommended by a shed load of organisations such as Corgi, Viking Direct, etc

A lot of hosts will offer auto install of various e-commerce solutions. So just a case of installing your own banner and changing a few settings to get it looking how you want - it would only be basic though.
If you want something a little more custom looking then the vast majority of designers will use the same ecommerce backbone and put a template over it - Im guessing this is basically what Drax will offer and IMO is the best option.
If your going for the latter then speak to a desinger first and get their opinion on a webhost.

check out big cartel. My misses sells her own t shirts on there. her site.
She pays the $10 a month package for 100 items i think it is. Very good store imo, and very easy to get on with. You can direct your domain at the cartel site so the url always remains in your url (if that makes sense).
