as title says, got a 1.4 8v sri corsa for sale. needs a fair few bits for its mot but not much money is needed. would make a good project car for a engine swap, or whatever you please. as it is (or was), its a decent little car. handled well, and (for me) was fairly 'quick'. with an ashley competition system, de-cat and induction kit (which will stay on the engine) it made about 90bhp (standard 82bhp) have rolling road printout to prove.

things it needs are;

-new rear axle and trailing arms, got quoted £40 for replacement from local scrappy
-rear brake hoses (not expensive)
-drivers side clip on the front subframe is broken, but a replacement would cost pennies from a scrappy.
-needs a new rear spring (drivers side) but will sell with a set of BRAND NEW -50mm lowering springs
-will also chuck in a 260w amp, fli front speakers are still in the doorcards and a fair bit of wiring too
- and last of all, front windscreen wipers will need replacing

only other thing (which wont affect mot) is that the drivers door was bent out a bit as some theiving c*nt tried to break into it, now the electric window and the central locking doesnt work. hense why instead of putting it back on the road, it would be good slapping a lighter wind-up window on and maybe a bigger engine and used on the track

£150 ono, needs to be gone asap. the springs themselves are worth £50 at least, and the amp is in perfect working order. once sorted this car would make a good project car

make me an offer people. im in the lincon area if anyone is interested. you can hear the car running if wanted but the exhaust system has been removed (it did have a full ashley system but sold that, standard exhaust inc downpipe and cat is in the car) so it will be very loud

cheers

also, it has astra gte alloys on, which were resprayed in black a while ago but after a clean still look good

here's a couple of pics

so, basically for the £150 im asking for you get some astra gte alloys with good tyres, brand new -50mm springs, a decent induction kit inc samco hosing that actually increases performance (and looks/sounds good) the front brake pads were changed about a week or so before it was taken off the road, and any other things you might want for spares such as the good condition interior.

cheers
