went to turn the car on earlier but it wouldnt start up. i didnt leave the lights on or anything so i cant think to why it wouldnt start. borrowed some jump leads, got it started and it was fine i did notice that the wash wiper cap wasnt on so could this have splashed and got onto the battery or is the battery dying?

batery might be dying mate, mine did this, drove it to work and it was fine, got in it to go home and the battery was flat, did a battery test as i had access to a tester, and it had dead cells.
