iv bought a kit off ebay and i removed the manual window regulator and tried fittin the leccy one tried fitting the runners onth window but its a pain in the arse to do the runners keep sliding off when i try to fit the next one has anyone had this trouble before when fitting them could anyone help me please

Slip the window down about half way, slide the mechanism into the runner at the base of the window. You then need someone to pull the window up and hold it there whilst you hold the linkage making sure it doesn't come out of the runners. Then line the linkage up with the retention points on the door, there are 4 of them. Pop rivet it in place or use retention bolts and nuts!

the electric windows regulators fit in exactly the same way as the manual ones, as you can refit the manual ones then you should be able to to the electric.
have you definately got the right kit, post a link to the ebay ad

that should fit to the door and glass in the same way as the original winders.
its a bit fiddly to do, especially alone but its perfectly possible to get the glass into place with a bit of trial and error
