x16xe engine, x16xe clocks (electronic) 1.48v shell. Coming off the tranducer from the gearbox are 3 wires:
1 brown
1 black
1 blue and red
Where do these wires go to make the speedo and rev gauge work?

Green from the ECU is the rpm signal. Were the clocks in the shell electronic before you put this gearbox in? If they were then there will be a little round connector which goes onto it.
The wire colour are:
brown - earth
black - Ignition live
blue/red - Speed signal
I converted mine to electronic and connected all 3 wires to the back of the clocks. Without the RPM signal you will cut out everytime you roll up to a junction with the clutch down

just wondering, If it was cable before why are you converting it to electronic drive? the cable should just screw into the new gearbox the same
