I just did the test an this is my code 1 4 0 5

1405 Exhaust Gas Re-circulation (EGR) valve n/a

what does this mean and how can it be fixed ?

EGRs are gay, take it for a good thrashing and if that doesn't clear it up get a new egr or blank it off

yer either clean it up to try and fix it (worked short term for me) or buy and blanking plate and blank it off


New ones are very pricey

Drives supercharged Tec with torque

Guys i am a complete noob at the tech side of cars so where is the egr valve ill try and clean it. And what do you mean by blanking plate and blank it off ?

I reckon there about a ton to replace - piece of piss to do - bugger if it goes - mine was a bit wrong too - idle was all over the place.
