Want to get my sister a laptop for christmas but being a student don't have the biggest funds available for one, probably looking to spend around £250. All she will use it for is listening to music and browsing the internet ( msn/facebook etc )
Looked on ebay but most of them appear to be second hand, anyone got any links to ok ( know its not gonna be a brilliant machine!! ) around the £250 price mark??
Cheers.

£300 really is the lower limit for everyday prices, unless u can find one on the highstreet and then use the NUS discount to get another £30 off I'm afraid. You may be lucky and catch one on special special offer online but you will need to be constantly checing the sites
edit - i wouldnt buy something like this off ebay either, even with those 'guarantees' that are being mentioned, AFAIK your Sales of goods Act rights dont apply to these transactions

ROFL or a lynx box set.
She got me a quality bday present ( tickets, flights and hotel to Arsenals away leg in the next champions league round. ) so think I owe it too her a bit.
