My computer keeps running slow then i get a warning sign come up saying my virtual memory is running low, what's this? Can i clear anything to quicken it up?

Its running out of virtual memory it hasnt got enough hard drive space when trying to use the paging file (using your hard drive space as RAM)

Used space: 12.8gb

Free space: 63.4gb

If low drive space isn't the problem, the virtual-memory settings may be wrong. Right-click My Computer and choose Properties. Click the Advanced tab. Click the Settings button in the Performance panel. Click the Advanced tab in the Performance dialog. Click the Change button in the Virtual memory panel. Whew! This setting is buried quite thoroughly! Look for the System managed size option, select it if it isn't already selected, and then click OK, OK, OK. That should end the warnings.

How much RAM do you have and how big is the pagefile?

I have 512mg ram

I don't do alot with my computer, i only play FM08 and browse the net.

min setting should be 768 and max should be 2304
