Hi,
I've got a flushed tailgate which i'll be fitting soon, so would like to relocate my numberplate to the rear bumper. But I do not want it to be just stuck on....
What recess's have people used in the past? or can you purchase a universal recess that you just graft in.
i've done this before on a calibra rear bumper but that was using a Mondeo rear recess which is the wrong shape for a Corsa B rear bumper.
Cheers
Neil

I used a fibreglass recess made for nova, got it from corsacentre.com i think, then got the bodyshop to smooth it in. But if i was to do it again I would use a fiesta mk4 or maybe a corsa c rear bumper and just cut out what i need and plastic weld to corsa b bumper.

i used a new shape astra recess but shortened it in both directions
but because i was on a budget i used sikaflex too glue it in place and then used fiberglass matt on the outside for strength
would recomend plastic welding tho as it would be a lot lot neater
heres a pic
