I don't mind 5 doors
Just think the light looks right in that pic.
Have you had a play with all the settings?

well they were taken in .raw & .jpg, obviously im going to use the raw files.
Had a quick play with levels just to tweak the lighting, they were just mess around shots. got disturbed by some boy racers near by so I figured I'd make a hasty retreat.

Little critque from me
Getting quite a bit of lens flare on them shots, try ot to shot directy towards the light.
The portrait side shot of the car, the back wheel. Either have it definitely out of the frame on fully in. On yours its sort of slightly out of the frame so it looks like a mistake. Also the wall is over exposed
I like the 2nd to last shot but darken the tyres a bit.
Keep practicing.

Cheers Jonny. I will admit I was kinda rushed due to my girlfriend and me having a disagreement on the phone and my phone died. I had to rush off so they were the best shots I had. I will go out again to night and reshoot.
I didn't crop any photo so they're as shot. I usually take my time, but did rush.
Thanx for the info about lens flare trouble, I'll give that a shot tonite.

don't worry, I managed to get home just in time to give it a Jolt back to life.
It was touch and go for a while, but she's made a speedy recovery.

They are taken on a Canon EOS 350d SLR.
You would be hard pressed to get the kind of quality. But if you have a tripod take time to position your camera and use the camera timer as not to get camera shake you would be able to get a similar kind of style. Though the levels would be dark, as the flash would bleach everything.
To achieve these I exposed the shot for a number of seconds on a small aperture as to not let too much light in.

Nice pics.
Re the comments about gear, bear in mind that technique is a substantial reason why those pics look as they do.

exactly. Its easy to pick up, but its not just a case of point and shoot. You've got to think about composition, exposure times etc. Just trial and error to be honest, but JonnyJ will tell you that.
