How do you get the speedo to work when fitting a c20xe? I have been told that I need to find a 1.2 8v corsa with electric clocks, then take the transducer off the 1.2 8v gearbox and bolt to the f20 gearbox and it will work. Can anyone confirm this?

If fitting it to your x16xe just take it from your current gearbox . It's what ive done and it works fine.

The car had a x16xe in before conversion so will the transducer work then?Didn't think that worked.

I took mine straight from my x14xe gearbox and put it into the F20 with no problems. Not sure on how far out it is but cant be much.

Your correct

I had the same problem with mine

Heres the part number if you need to buy it new its off a 1.4 8v iirc, i got mine from autovaux

90532632

You will also need the plug off a 1,4 8v or of a digi dash like i used lol

What the actual transponder? i tryed that and it was out by 20 mph

Yea i had a transponde of a digi dash lying around so tryed it and it was out by 20mph so i bought the correct 1 (shown above) and it is spot on
