Whats the crack with it being registered as a non turbo?
Surely this is totally voiding you insurance anyway if you had a bump??

So was it originally a Black 2.0GL which then had a conversion and respray?

Because its impossible to register a car as something its not. I couldn't import a 1.3 Toyota Starlet, and claim it was a 1.0!

No it's always been a WRX from factory, not a conversion! Yes it was black but now it's blue!

And for your information, know it all! The reason it's dowm as a GL is because when they first started to import wrx's on a K plate they were limited to the number they could import, therefor the only way they could keep importing them and to get them registered here was to import them as GL's from japan! I know of 3 in my area, all wrx's from factory, originally black, all down as GL's, on k plates, one of which is down as a 1.6GL!

You are aware that as this is a public forum that anyone from any interested party could simply give your reg plate to the DVLA and then they could come round and have a poke about, which when they find it is incorrectly registered either take it off you or have you for invalid insurance (probably tax as well). If you know it is a better or worse car than what it is registered as it is up to YOU to get it changed....
