Yo, me mates corsa B (Diesel on an L reg) is cabbaged, doesnt last much at all

Should he disconnect the positive side of the battery over night so it is ok for 2morrow morning? Is this advisable? it will probably die over night you see

Anything bad happen to the car etc?

If no alarm yeah, if alarm don't bother. Used to have same issue with mine when it was standing although if left with battery off the alarm would go mental for hours after disconnecting

yeh but wont it cut the power to battery?therefore it wont use any power?

It will still go flat in these cold conditions, disconnect the negative terminal not the positive too!
